SASZ Stitches came about roughly 30 years ago selling hand painted T-Shirt Dresses and hand knit items. It soon evolved into quilting, teaching quilting and knitting. A friend introduced me to Microwave Bowl Koozies and business took off. Shortly after that, I discovered Machine Embroidery, purchased a new Sewing/Embroidery combo machine and quickly outgrew it. Several years ago I purchased a larger Embroidery Machine and continue to learn and create new things weekly.
It is so fascinating and exciting to watch the designs stitch out right before my eyes. Embroidery on Mulberry Paper, making greeting cards, was my introduction into this wonderful world of thread art. Soon after that along came towels, pillows. shirts, rope bowls and now playing around with Organza. Microwave Bowl Koozies are still my number one seller and yes, I still make T-Shirt Dresses for great grand, however they are embroidered and not painted. LOL Stop by, say Hello, and take a peek.
