“It’s hot enough to…”

Well, you know what we’re talking about!

We’re so sorry we aren’t able to control the temperature in our Market Building, but we’re working on it.

We’d love nothing more than to turn up the air conditioning, but our old building doesn’t have the electrical power to handle it.  Years ago, when this building was constructed, power requirements were nothing like today’s needs, so we have to have new electrical service installed before we can introduce air conditioning, and that’s going to cost a lot of money.

 We’re working as hard as possible to raise the funds needed to have this done.  We’re applying for grants and other sources of funding, and we’re as creative as can be, finding new ways to refill the account after the initial expense of renovating the building.

We’re even running a great raffle.  If you haven’t seen it, be sure to visit the welcome table at the front door.

We’ll cool y’all down as soon as we can.  In the meantime, just to show our solidarity, we’re in here sweltering with the rest of you!
